This button’s drop-down menu contains a Last Custom Setting option, six preset margin choices, and a Custom Margins command. Then click the Margins drop-down button in the Page Setup button group. You can see, I have this wide 2.5-inch margin, here on the right. To set margins in Word, first click the Layout tab in the Ribbon. We’ll click New, and then, we'll double-click Blank document.Īnd you can see over on the right, here for our ruler, we have a gray area that indicates that 2.5-inch margin.Īnd it’s even more apparent when I paste some text.
